Job Title: Head of IT
Location: Erbil, Iraq

Job Summary:
The Head of IT is responsible for overseeing the company’s information technology strategy, ensuring the efficient operation of IT systems, and driving innovation to enhance postal services. This role requires a strategic leader who can align technology with business goals, maintain cybersecurity, and manage IT infrastructure to support logistics, delivery tracking, and customer services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the IT strategy to support the company’s operational and business objectives.
• Oversee the IT infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, software, and cloud-based platforms.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of IT systems, data, and customer information.
• Manage the development, deployment, and maintenance of digital platforms, including postal tracking, automated sorting systems, and online customer portals.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to optimize IT solutions for logistics, supply chain management, and automated postal operations.
• Lead the IT team, providing guidance, training, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, data protection laws, and cybersecurity standards.
• Oversee IT budgets, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Implement IT service management frameworks to improve system reliability and efficiency.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance postal operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably in logistics, supply chain, or postal services.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise systems.
• Experience with postal automation, tracking systems, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop IT strategies and lead large-scale technology projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance and data protection policies.
• Proficiency in English is required. Kurdish and Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with AI, IoT, and blockchain technologies for logistics and postal services.
• Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems used in the postal industry.
• ITIL, PMP, or CISSP certification is a plus.
