Taurus Energy is seeking a highly skilled 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 specializing in power plants and refineries to join our team in Sulaymaniyah. This role is ideal for professionals with extensive experience in procuring specialized equipment and managing high-value procurement agreements.


𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
1-Technical Procurement Expertise:
Procure specialized equipment and materials, including turbines, boilers, pumps, heat exchangers, and catalysts.
Ensure procurement aligns with engineering requirements and industry standards (𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘, 𝗔𝗣𝗜, 𝗜𝗦𝗢).
Review technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications to support technical evaluations.
2-Supplier Sourcing and Management:
Develop and maintain a network of reliable suppliers, including international vendors.
Conduct supplier qualifications, audits, and performance evaluations to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
3- Cost and Contract Management:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms for complex, high-value procurements.
Conduct cost analyses, lifecycle evaluations, and risk assessments.
Mitigate risks related to delivery delays, quality issues, and legal liabilities.
Contribute to direct spend strategy development within procurement.
4- Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory, environmental, and corporate standards.
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Bachelor’s degree in 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹, 𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 (or related field).
Professional certifications (𝗲.𝗴., 𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗦, 𝗖𝗣𝗦𝗠) are highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum 𝟴 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in power plants, refineries, or large-scale industrial projects.
Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar contracts for specialized equipment and systems.
𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲:
Strong understanding of power generation, refinery processes, and related equipment (e.g., turbines, boilers, compressors, reactors).
Familiarity with industry standards and codes (𝗲.𝗴., 𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘, 𝗔𝗣𝗜, 𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗠, 𝗜𝗘𝗖).
Proficiency in procurement tools and systems (𝗦𝗔𝗣, 𝗠𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗠𝗢, 𝗘𝗥𝗣, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀).
