🧾 Job Summary
The Senior Completion & Testing Supervisor is responsible for executing engineering programs related to well completion, stimulation, well testing, workover, and intervention activities. The role ensures all operations are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with approved procedures, OEM specifications, and company standards, with strong focus on quality, safety, and operational excellence.
⚙️ Primary Responsibilities
🛡 HSE Accountability
Support implementation of all HSE policies and initiatives.
🛠 Operations (Completions, Testing, Workover & Intervention)
Verify specifications for completion, testing, workover, and intervention equipment.
Coordinate with production, drilling, and well integrity engineers.
Develop engineering plans and execution reports with engineers and contractors.
Prepare End of Well Reports (EOWR).
Capture and implement Lessons Learned.
Ensure safe and efficient execution of programs.
Ensure compliance with company standards and subsurface requirements.
Prepare and follow Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Communicate operational objectives clearly to all stakeholders.
Coordinate equipment planning and logistics.
Conduct wellsite visits when required.
Prepare AFE time & cost estimates and monitor daily performance.
Prepare technical specifications for procurement and contracting.
Conduct operational risk assessments.
Ensure completion of pre-job checklists.
👨‍🏫 Leadership
Support Drilling Supervisors in program execution.
Supervise and coach junior engineers.
Set goals, manage performance, and provide feedback.
Develop and motivate team members.
🤝 Relationship Management
Maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and management.
📈 Continuous Improvement
Monitor operational performance and recommend improvements.
Conduct technical research for field development and drilling plans.
📊 Reporting Structure
Reports to: Drilling Superintendent / Drilling Supervisors
Supervises: Contractors, rig & workover personnel, well testing teams, intervention teams, site engineers
🎓 Requirements
Education & Certification
Relevant training in workover, intervention, completion, and well testing
IWCF or IADC Well Control Certificate
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in:
Completions
Stimulation
Well testing
Workover & intervention operations
Experience in H₂S environments is preferred
