JOB TITLE   : OILFIELD CHEMIST 
LOCATION   :  SYRIA
REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years experience in Oilfield Production Chemicals
• Formal Qualifications in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Excellent English Language Skills in speaking and writing
• Ability to work alone and un-supervised
• Travel Flexibility as frequent extended field visits in Syria / Iraq required
• Erbil based would be preference. 
• Ability to travel to Erbil for training is necessity.
Syrian nationality is preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary responsibility for Oilfield Chemical Lab / Field Testing for Advanced Chemicals Syria Operations.  

• Select optimum treatment applications via bottle testing for demulsifiers, asphaltene dispersants, H2S Scavengers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, antifoams and any other oilfield chemical applications

• Conduct and supervise plant field trials at customers sites for demulsifiers, asphaltene dispersants, H2S Scavengers, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, biocides, antifoams and any other oilfield chemical applications

• Customer site visits will primarily be in Syria but travel to Iraq and other locations maybe required.

• Writing Technical Reports for all lab and field based operations in English in a professional and timely manner

• Interface with Syria customers to understand current market conditions with regards to customer requirements / challenges / competitor activity 

• Sales responsibilities, initiating sales calls to all customers in Syria.
